Hootsuite bills per user seat. A junior who only schedules posts costs the same as your head of social. We don’t bill per seat at all: the Business plan takes your whole team.

The community networks
Reddit, Discord, Slack, Bluesky and Mastodon are where a lot of product audiences now live. We publish to all five. Check Hootsuite’s current network list before you assume it covers them.

Built for a department

We are not trying to win the enterprise. There are 4 things they do that we have no answer for, and probably never will.
Social listening
Brand and competitor monitoring across social and the wider web. We don’t do it and it isn’t on our roadmap.
Paid advertising
Managing ad spend alongside organic. Out of scope for us entirely.
SSO and compliance
If your procurement team requires single sign-on and audit controls, that conversation ends here.

Questions
Is €995 a fair comparison?
It’s Professional at €199 a seat with 5 people, on annual billing. Standard is €99 a seat but caps you at 10 social accounts, which rules it out for most agencies.
Why won’t you state their network list?
Because it changes, and a stale number on our site would be worse than no number. Read it on their own pages and hold us to ours.
Do you have an enterprise plan?
No. Business at $99 is the top of our list, and it has no seat limit. If you need SSO and procurement sign-off, we’re the wrong tool today.
Can I move across easily?
Export your scheduled content to CSV and upload it here. We import each connected account’s past posts on day one so the reporting doesn’t start from empty.
