Refund and Cancellation Policy
How to cancel, what happens to the rest of the period you paid for, and when we refund. Written so you can check it before you subscribe rather than after.
Before paid plans open
Paid plans are not open yet. Nobody has been charged, and the beta is free while it runs. This policy is published in advance so it can be read before the first invoice exists rather than discovered after it.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the dashboard, without contacting us and without giving a reason. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account keeps working until then.
- Weekly plans stop at the end of the current week.
- Monthly plans stop at the end of the current month.
- Annual plans stop at the end of the current year.
Nothing renews after that and no further payment is taken. Your account then moves to the Free plan: posts scheduled after that date are kept as drafts instead of being published, workspaces above the Free plan’s limits become read-only, and your media and reports stay available for 90 days so you can export them. You can resume your plan at any time before the period ends.
Cancelling a plan is not the same as closing your account. To close it, use Delete my account in Settings, and the deletion rules in the Privacy Policy apply.
Changing to a cheaper plan applies at the next renewal. Changing to a more expensive one applies immediately, and we charge only the difference for the remainder of the period.
When we refund
Refunds are returned to the payment method used for the original charge, normally within 14 days of us agreeing the refund. Your bank or card provider may take a few days longer to show it.
EU right of withdrawal
If you subscribe as a consumer rather than as a business, EU law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.
Because access to the service starts immediately, we ask you to confirm at checkout that you want it to begin during the withdrawal period. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund what you paid less a proportionate amount for the days you had access.
Most of our customers subscribe as businesses, where this right does not apply. The refund rules in the table above apply to everyone either way.
Prepaid X balance
Publishing to X carries a per-post charge set by X and paid from a prepaid balance. We pass it through at cost and show the figure before you publish.
Any unused balance is refunded on request when you close your account. Amounts already spent on published posts cannot be refunded, because they have been paid to X.
How to ask for a refund
Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the invoice number or the date of the charge. You do not need to explain why.
We reply within 3 working days and tell you plainly whether the refund is due under this policy. If we decline one, we say which rule applies and why.
Failed payments
If a payment fails we retry over the following days and email you. If it has not succeeded after 14 days the account is suspended rather than deleted: your content and scheduled posts stay in place and publishing pauses.
Pay the outstanding invoice and everything resumes. If nothing is paid within 30 days of suspension we close the account, and the export and deletion rules in the Privacy Policy apply.
